Leigh Perez is the principal podiatrist at Dandenong Village Medical Centre.
She holds a Bachelor of Podiatry, Bachelor of Health Science in Human Movement, Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction and Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness. Leigh Perez has over 20 years Podiatry experience in both the public and private podiatry sector.
She is well experienced in all aspects of podiatry and specializes with foot musculoskeletal disorders for athletes and persons at all ages.
Attends to ‘At Risk’ patients with foot wounds associated with increased pressure and neuropathy as well as addresses diabetes foot assessments and education, foot and ankle/sports and work injuries, rehabilitation, biomechanics, orthotics, mobilisation, shock wave, exercise therapy, Cam walker and Richie brace prescription, stress fracture management and dry needling. Podiatric care referrals (NDIS, Workcover, TAC, Private or EPC) is also available.

Leigh Perez also passionate about and has a unique understanding at competing at the elite level of sports.
She has represented Australia in both indoor and outdoor soccer to which she recently attended the 2017 Women’s Indoor Soccer World Cup and was instrumental in the team’s success.
As a result, she is experienced with endurance events preparation, elite athletes (soccer/basketball/netball players), Pilates, footwear prescription.
